Mentor Me now open to students

>>Mentor Me now open to students

Mentor Me, the Institute’s unique mentoring programme, is now open to students who participate in the Institute’s Education Membership Scheme. Participants in Mentor Me (currently more than 50 individuals) continue to give extremely positive feedback.

Francesco De Palma AIH says: “I had the honour to be trained by Professor Maria Gebbels MIH and it was an amazing journey we took together. I learnt how to improve my skills as an employee and as a manager and also how to plan my way to become a good leader in the near future. We prepared for and simulated an interview to progress my career.

I wish to thank the Institute and Professor Gebbels for the super opportunity that I have received. I gained the confidence and knowledge to apply for a superior position and I was successful in my application.”

Maria Gebbels MIH, lecturer in hospitality management, University of Greenwich, says: “It has been a pleasure working with Francesco. It is great when a student really wants to learn and improve on his skills. I also found the mentoring scheme well organised and the Institute’s resources of high quality. I learnt new things too, so all round success.”

Alistair Sandall FIH, the Institute’s head of professional development, says: “We are delighted to extend Mentor Me to our student membership community. Get in touch now.”
