Caitriona Lennox FIH

Head of Springboard Northern Ireland

Winner 2025

Her work for The Springboard Charity Northern Ireland has empowered individuals facing barriers such as unemployment and mental health challenges to access meaningful careers in hospitality. Through initiatives such as Destination Hospitality – Steps to Employment for Ballymena and Hospitality Connects, Caitriona has created sustainable pathways into work, strengthened the talent pipeline and positioned hospitality as an inclusive and aspirational career destination.

Paul Gilley FIH

Managing Director of PJ Search & Selection and Founder of Chair of the London Hospitality Festival

Since founding the London Hospitality Festival in 2009, Paul has united the industry in celebration while raising vital funds for a number of charities. A well-respected Institute Fellow, former member of the IoH Supervisory Board, and long-standing IoH mentor, his dedication to nurturing talent, giving back, and championing hospitality excellence has left an enduring legacy across the hospitality industry.

Harry Murray MBE FIH MI

President of HOSPA

Winner 2023

A leader in luxury hospitality for over five decades, Harry transformed Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa into a Five Red Star, Michelin-starred destination. He was awarded an MBE in 2006, a Catey for Hotelier of the Year, and multiple lifetime achievement honours. A Master Innholder, founder of the St Julian Scholars Mentoring Programme, and President of HOSPA, he is an avid supporter and long-standing Fellow of the Institute. He has raised significant funds for charities, champions excellence, and his dedication and legacy continue to inspire generations across the industry.

Stephen Carter OBE FIH MI

Hospitality Consultant and Chairman at Effective Hospitality Management

Winner 2022

A leading figure in Scottish hospitality, Stephen has managed some of the nation’s most prestigious hotels and was awarded an OBE in 2007 for his services to the industry, alongside VisitScotland’s Silver Thistle Award for his outstanding contribution to tourism. A Master Innholder, Hotelier of the Year 2011 representative, and long-standing IoH Fellow and mentor, he continues to shape the industry as Chairman of Effective Hospitality Management, championing professional excellence and inspiring the next generation of hospitality leaders.

Phil Street FIH

Host of I'm In Podcase and Founder & Host Of Hospitality Meets Podcast

Former co-founder and director of Momentum Hospitality Recruitment, Phil spent over a decade helping professionals find roles within the industry. Founder of his own Hospitality Meets podcast in 2020 and host of the Institute’s I’m In podcast since its inception in 2021, he has told the essential stories of hospitality professionals, bringing the industry to life. A huge advocate for the vital role hospitality and its people play in the economy and life, he remains committed to promoting the industry as a career of choice, inspiring pride, connection, and recognition.

Kellie Rixon MBE FIH

Founder of Rixon Associates

Winner 2024

Awarded an MBE in 2020 for services to hospitality, Kellie has held senior leadership roles at De Vere, including HR Director – Collection and Managing Director of the De Vere Academy, before founding Rixon Associates in 2016. Serving as Chair of the Institute’s Board of Trustees until 2024, she steered the organisation through the pandemic, oversaw the appointment of a new CEO, and secured industry support for the Institute’s ambition to become a Chartered Professional Body. Her leadership and dedication to developing talent over decades have left an indelible mark on the profession.
