The Institute of Hospitality welcomes 13 new graduates on the De Vere Management scheme into membership.
The scheme, launched in September 2023, sees the 13 graduates on a 18-month programme in management roles across the De Vere portfolio. Graduates meet for training sessions covering F&B Immersion, Duty Management & H&S Compliance, Personal Development and Emotional Intelligence, Commercial and Finance, People Management and Leadership.
Sam Coulstock FIH, Head of Professional Development, met with the graduates at De Vere Tortworth Court Hotel on 8 September to onboard them into the IoH and demonstrate the wealth of CPD resources the graduates can use for their development.
Sam said “We are delighted to welcome the graduates to the IoH Family. The CPD resources, networking, mentoring programmes and online learning platforms we provide as part of our Five Pillars of Learning, fit nicely with the graduate programme that De Vere offers. After meeting the graduates at the onboarding session, I am sure they all have bright futures ahead of them in the hospitality sector, and I look forward to seeing them grow with De Vere and IoH membership by their side.”
Frazer Gander, Assistant Head of People & Culture at De Vere said “De Vere are really pleased to be sponsoring our new Graduate Management cohort with Graduate Membership to the IoH. The membership benefits will provide our Graduates with a range of opportunities to enhance their engagement within the wider industry whilst enhancing their overall learning on our rotational programme.”
