Hospitality Apprenticeship Bus hits London streets for National Apprenticeship Week 2019

4 March 2019

Umbrella Training and its partner employers are rolling out the London Routemaster Bus again this year for the 3rd time to inspire students in schools in London and Kent about Hospitality Apprenticeships.

National Apprenticeship Week (4-8 March) is an annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships that brings the whole apprenticeship community together to celebrate the impact of apprenticeships on individuals, employers and the economy.

Following the most successful National Apprenticeship Week in 2018, National Apprenticeship Week 2019 – which also coincides with National Careers Week – will look to involve more individuals, employers, partners and providers in activities that highlight the benefits that apprenticeships bring to employers and the opportunities apprenticeships present to individuals.

Joining Umbrella Training on Thursday 7 March 2019 will be

  • The Ritz London
  • The Goring
  • Strand Palace hotel
  • Skills London 2019
  • Red Carnation Hotels
  • Sarova Hotels
  • Firmdale Hotels
  • Royal Air Force Club
  • Park Plaza Hotels

Each student that jumps onto the bus will meet with hospitality apprentices and learn about exciting career opportunities available to them when they leave school.  Each student will be given an information pack aimed at changing perceptions of careers and apprenticeships in hospitality.
