In the past months they have not only been ranked 1st in the UK for overall student satisfaction in their subject area (in the National Student Survey 2020), but they have also seen another year on year increase in student applicants to the School.
As part of the sector Edge Hotel School recognise their responsibility to the industry and that times may be very hard for a number of your employees, some of whom might be on furlough and others who you may have had to make redundant.
In response to this, they have decided to open their January 2021 intake for their Top-up degree courses to anyone from the industry who has Level 5 qualifications (HND’s; FDA’s or Advanced Diplomas) and who wishes to ‘top up’ their qualifications in a short space of time. They have made a number of additional arrangements to suit those who may be interested in this programme.
Edge Hotel School have been very fortunate to obtain a number of £1000 bursaries from both the Savoy Educational Trust as well as the University of Essex that potential students can apply for to provide support for members of the industry who are self-funding.
In this way, they hope to be able to not only retain members of our industry but also to provide them with improved skills to re-enter the industry, hopefully at the outturn of this situation.
