With the spread of the highly infectious new variant of Covid-19 called Omicron, spreading fast. It is more important than ever for everyone to get vaccinated according to the UK government.
This latest challenge from Omicron is already severally affecting staffing levels at hospitality and related businesses across the world so the UK government are recommending that being vaccinated is the best way to fight the virus.
The UK Government announced booster vaccines will be offered to all UK adults aged18+ by the beginning of January 2022, as early data shows that a booster dose of a vaccine is key to protecting against the Omicron variant, reducing the risk of serious illness and hospitalisation.
All UK permanent residents are eligible to receive a Covid-19 booster three months after their second Covid dose.
