The IoH Southern Branch invites students and hospitality apprentices to enter the Student of the Year 2020 awards. There are five categories available to enter: Front of House, Chefs, Pastry, Apprentice and Management.
The awards are open to full time and part time students and apprentices working within an accredited scheme. As a ‘Student of the Year’, you will be able to demonstrate knowledge of practical skills; however, the judges will also look for engagement with wider issues within Hospitality, innovation and inspiration drawn from others and developed leadership qualities of the candidate during their courses/careers.
Nominations must be submitted either in Word or PDF format by Friday 13 March 2020.
The finalists will be contacted by email on week commencing 6 April 2020.
All finalists will be invited for a video recording session which will assist the judging panel on their deliberations. These recordings will take place on the week of 27 April 2020 and the week of 4 May 2020 and will require travel to either Winchester or Bournemouth. Final dates to be confirmed.
