Aaron Phipps is a Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby athlete and gold medal winning Paralympian, whose many achievements include scaling Mount Kilimanjaro on his hands and knees. Aaron’s message of sheer perseverance, determination, energy and endurance is truly moving, with his strategies for achieving all that he has, transferable to careers and life goals.
Aaron attended the IoH Annual Dinner and Awards earlier this year, and after meeting him, we were left in awe at his enthusiasm and energy, and we knew we had to invite him to speak.
On agreeing to be our keynote speaker, Aaron told us:
“I am thrilled to join Passion4Hospitality 2023 as the keynote speaker. I’ll be sharing my thoughts; some of my experiences; my amazing adventures; my passion… my story so far. I’m really looking forward to seeing loads of students and graduates on the day.
“No matter your experience, or where you live, or the school you attend, the hospitality industry is open to everyone… you just need to have the right attitude. There are so many brilliant opportunities. Passion4Hospitality is a great way to see all those opportunities on offer. It’s an amazing conference, that’s free to attend… to learn new skills, have a fun day and potentially end up with a job! What’s not to like?!”
Taking place on 1 December this year, at Novotel London West, P4H is the largest, free student, graduate and apprentice Careers Exhibition & Conference in the UK hospitality industry. And this year is set to be our biggest one ever.
We have been overwhelmed with the number of student and graduates signing-up to attend. This year, we are using the entire open plan Champagne Suite at the Novotel London West, to fit everyone in!
We have over 400 student and graduate attendees; 50 Careers Fair stands hosted by Hospitality Establishments; 12 HOTS Business Game Teams from universities across the globe; 30 Member Supporters signed up to work with us as mentors on our amazing IoH Workshops. It’s going to be amazing.
