Le Cordon Bleu and Birkbeck have already had an award-winning partnership, providing joint undergraduate and postgraduate programmes since 2018.
With membership in the Institute’s EMS, their students will now have free access to the Institute’s professional development resources, allowing their students to strengthen their learning and professional hospitality career path.
Nitin Radhakrishnan FIH, Head of Careers and Corporate Relations and Senior Lecturer from Le Cordon Bleu London confirmed: “We are delighted to be part of the Institute of Hospitality and their Educational Membership Scheme. This will enhance our student’s careers and professional standing in the industry. Plus, given the Institute’s resources are online, virtual, and face-to-face, students will be able to access free learning that fits their own schedules.”
The Institute’s valuable EMS provides universities and colleges with access to free resources for their students, which includes the Institute’s world-class mentoring programme, entry to student events, conferences, webinars, podcasts, information and advice, access to a wide range of books, white papers, and research in the IoH Library, thousands of hospitality jobs on the Institute’s UK and global jobs boards, local regional events, special student discounts on leading retail and leisure brands and much more.

EMS graduates can also continue their Institute of Hospitality membership at a minimal annual cost. Allowing them to enhance their professional standing by having the letters ‘AIH’ after their name as an Associate of the Institute of Hospitality, alongside their university qualification.
