The finalists for this year’s Institute of Hospitality Northern Ireland Awards for Professionalism have been chosen. After two days of judging at Crowne Plaza Hotel, all finalists have been notified and are now preparing for the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, taking place at Titanic Belfast on Friday 17 May 2019.The Institute of Hospitality Awards for Professionalism are the longest established hospitality awards in Northern Ireland and pay tribute to and recognise the achievements of many committed, passionate professionals in the hospitality industry throughout Northern Ireland.
Marianne Hood FIH, chair of our Northern Ireland Branch, has been hugely impressed by the response of people entering the awards this year. She says:
“We had a record number of high-calibre industry professionals entering the awards this year, which made judging even more difficult for our independent panel. Tourism and the hospitality industry are thriving, and we undoubtedly have some world-class people working in world-class hotels, restaurants, bars and venues in Northern Ireland.
The Institute of Hospitality NI is delighted to recognise and reward talented, dedicated professionals and the prestigious gala awards are always the highlight of our hospitality calendar.”
She continues:
“We are also proud that this year’s final will unveil new sponsors and we’re looking forward to hosting a special evening for all finalists to meet, network and celebrate their achievements in authentic Italian restaurant, Gusto é on Belfast Waterfront on 11 April.”
