The Institute of Hospitality is delighted to announce that accreditation has been awarded to programmes offered by the School of Hospitality and Tourism in the Faculty of Business, Hospitality and Humanities, at Nilai University in Malaysia.
Accreditation has been awarded for five years, to two diploma programmes in the fields of culinary arts and hotel management, and to a bachelor’s degree in business and hospitality management.
The Professional Review Panel commend the programmes and, in particular:
Professor Dr Sivakumar Velayutham, Dean, Faculty of Business, Hospitality and Humanities said “We are proud to receive accreditation from the Institute of Hospitality. This accreditation confirms that our programmes meet international professional standards and assures us that we provide a quality education to our students in the School of Hospitality and Tourism.”
Peter Ducker FIH, Chief Executive, Institute of Hospitality said, “We warmly welcome Nilai University to our global network of accredited programme providers and are delighted to confirm this accreditation. We look forward to developing our relationship with them.”
