I joined in late May 2020, while on furlough and it has been one of the best decisions this year. The webinars are really interesting and on-point with everything that is going on. I definitely recommend membership to others!

Luis Preto MIH, Night Manager, The Beaumont Hotel London

Being a member has afforded me a range of opportunities that without doubt have enhanced my professional development and career progression. From online resources to networking opportunities, CPD events and being part of the Mentor Me programme, the Institute provides a wide range of benefits that in my view are key for any manager or aspiring manager in the industry today.

Adam Rowledge FIH, Managing Director, Rowledge Associates

What I value most from my membership is the network of industry individuals that I have met across many different sectors and who have taken the time to share their amazing careers, knowledge and advice with me which only motivates and inspires me further. The Mentor Me programme is another valuable element which I have recently started and utilises the knowledge and wealth of experiences of the mentor to guide and assist individuals (like myself) to achieve their career goals.

Rachael Stevens MIH, Guest Services Manager, South Lodge Hotel & Spa

I am still exploring the benefits by working my way through the website. I love reading HQ magazine which is packed with news and relevant articles.

Jatin Parmar MIH, Restaurant Director, The Fat Duck

Through my membership I value the networking opportunities available by attending events. I think it’s incredibly important not only to support your career progression, but it’s a great personal support to have a group of people you know from across the industry and different sectors.
