Three new appointments have been made to the Institute’s Hospitality Family as two new chairs are appointed for the IoH’s Youth Council, and Scotland Region, and a new member joins the IoH Supervisory Board.
Kevin Keenan MIH, appointed IoH Scotland Regional Chair
Kevin Keenan MIH, Director of Effective Hospitality Management, Edinburgh, has been named the new IoH Scotland Regional Chair, succeeding Peter Walker FIH MI. Commenting on his appointment, Kevin said: “It is a privilege to be asked to Chair the Institute of Hospitality Scotland region. I am committed to supporting all our members in Scotland and advancing the standards of professionalism within the industry.”
Kevin joined the Institute in 2023 and brings with him an extensive career in hospitality, having held senior roles such as Resort General Manager at Murrayshall Hotel & Golf Courses in Perth and The Thurlestone Hotel in Devon, before launching his own hospitality consultancy.

Bradley Dorrington AIH, named IoH Youth Council Chair
Bradley Dorrington AIH, Owner and Director of The Wine Cellar in Bury St Edmunds, has been appointed Chair of the IoH Youth Council, taking over from Katariina Reissaar MIH.
A rising star in the industry, Bradley was an Acorn Award winner in 2024 and named in Harpers Wine & Spirit’s prestigious 30 Under 30 list the same year. He also completed the Concord Hotel Management Training Scheme before launching his current venture.
Reflecting on his new role, Bradley said: “I joined the IoH to connect with like-minded professionals and help promote the positive pathways available in our industry. It is my pleasure to be named Chair of the Youth Council, where I hope to enhance the visibility of the Institute among younger professionals and support the next generation of our beloved industry.”
Katariina Reissaar MIH, joins IoH Supervisory Board
After four impactful years as Chair of the IoH Youth Council, Katariina Reissaar MIH has been appointed to the Institute’s Supervisory Board, bringing her valuable experience and passion for youth engagement to the organisation’s Board.
Speaking about her new role, Katariina confirmed: “Being part of the Youth Council and witnessing its incredible journey has been one of my greatest honours. To watch it evolve beyond what I ever imagined, and to work alongside such passionate, talented young professionals, has been truly humbling. I’m filled with pride and gratitude for everything we’ve achieved together. Stepping into a new chapter as a member of the IoH Supervisory Board is both exciting and deeply meaningful. The Institute of Hospitality changes lives—I’ve seen it first-hand—and I couldn’t be prouder to continue championing our industry’s future in this new role.”
