IoH supports future hospitality skills research and calls on members to take part

12 April 2022

The IoH and other international associations and bodies, including eHotelier and The International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE-ICE), are supporting a major research project on the future skills needed by the hospitality industry.

They are asking for views from all sectors of the international hospitality industry regarding the staffing challenges being faced by the industry. Their aim is to better understand these challenges and try to influence the current education and training systems alongside the professional development needs of the industry in the future.

Robert Richardson FIH, IoH CEO confirmed: “The current skills shortage is affecting the entire Hospitality Industry at all levels. We need to understand more about what is needed so the IoH can help influence future training and professional development needs on behalf of our IoH members. I would ask our members and wider hospitality family to take time to complete this important survey and have their say.”

Have your say!

The survey of 23 questions, takes about 10 minutes to complete and will be available until 30 April 2022.

A summary of the results will be published and sent to those who complete the survey along with other industry bodies and the press.

Thank you for your support.
