Why get involved?
IfATE works with industry influencers and across government to create occupational standards against which vocational and technical qualifications for all sectors are developed. Including apprenticeships, T levels, and other qualifications from entry to degree level.
Joining a high-profile IfATE employer group will help IoH members influence and drive positive change across the hospitality industry.

Only professional and employer-led bodies that have a role in maintaining standards of occupational competence and interest in skills development are accepted into the employer directory so we are delighted to be involved.”
As Sam explained: “Our members now have a voice at the heart of Apprenticeships and technical education policy going forward and I hope that many will now join an employer group to help us impact the skills shortage with real change.”

The directory of professional and employer-led bodies supports the IfATEs commitment to maintaining employer voice and industry input in the evaluation of EPA.
What they do
A key element of IfATEs work is supporting employer groups in the development of the apprenticeships. They maintain the occupational maps which underpin all technical education. They develop, approve, review and revise apprenticeships and technical qualifications with employers. This includes responsibility for T Levels delivery and for implementing an approval process for higher technical qualifications.
