We are delighted to announce the launch of our 2027 Charity Golf Day, which will take place on Thursday 13 May 2027 at The Belfry Hotel & Resort, in partnership with the Institute’s strategic partners, the Night Time Industries Association (NTIA).
Designed as much more than a golf tournament, the event will offer a full day of fundraising, networking and entertainment. Alongside the championship golf competition, guests will be able to enjoy The Belfry’s award-winning spa facilities or join colleagues and friends for an evening garden party, making the day equally appealing to golfers and non-golfers alike.
Set at one of the UK’s most iconic golf resorts, the programme will include 18 holes of championship golf with a shotgun start, a range of on-course competitions, and a relaxed evening garden party featuring a barbecue, entertainment and informal networking.
Funds raised will support the work of the Institute’s Youth Council, a group of inspiring young volunteers and hospitality professionals who work with the Institute throughout the year to engage, encourage and develop the next generation of hospitality talent, as well as the important work of the Night Time Industries Association in championing and supporting businesses across the UK’s night-time economy.
Robert Richardson FIH MI, CEO of the Institute of Hospitality, said: “We are delighted to launch the Institute of Hospitality Charity Golf Day 2027 in partnership with the Belfry Hotel & Resort and the Night Time Industries Association.
“Next year, our event will go beyond golf to create a true destination experience. Whether guests join us to play, relax in the spa or attend the evening celebrations, the day will provide a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry colleagues while supporting our Youth Council and the next generation of hospitality professionals.”
Chief Executive of the Night Time Industries Association, Michael Kill FIH, commented: “We are delighted to support this event, which reflects the strong relationship between our organisations and our shared commitment to investing in hospitality’s future talent.
“The event is a fantastic opportunity to bring people together from across hospitality and the night-time economy in a relaxed setting, while raising funds for two very worthwhile causes. I have no doubt it will be a sell-out, and we are all looking forward to an outstanding day at The Belfry in 2027.”
