The Institute’s 4th Annual Charity Golf Day at the stunning Belfry Hotel & Resort near Birmingham takes place on Thursday 8 May and is gearing up to raise substantial funds for the IoH’s Youth Council initiative, providing mentoring, networking and professional development support to young hospitality professionals globally.
Last year the event raised over £4,700, thanks to sponsorship from headline partners Meiko UK, and others.
The event, organised in association with the team at H&C News, has already seen the IoH Midland Region sign up to take part, along with many other teams from UK hospitality businesses, including headline partners Meiko UK.
With the countdown to the IoH Golf Day already well underway, IoH CEO Robert Richardson FIH MI commented: “The IoH Annual Charity Golf Day is an important day in our events calendar. It helps us raise vital funds for our IoH Youth Council volunteers to support other young people at the start of their hospitality careers and encourage many others to enter the profession.
“The Youth Council works incredibly hard with our student members and non-members at our virtual and live events to help us achieve this aim, and we need them to continue their work, now more than ever.
Robert continued: “I hope as many of our members and extended hospitality family will join us again this year to help us raise funds and enjoy another exceptional, fun and fulfilling networking event.”
