IoH confirms accreditation for Coventry University London

The IoH has awarded accreditation for five years to Coventry University London for three undergraduate degree programmes in global events management, and international hospitality and tourism management.

The programmes aim to develop students’ knowledge and understanding of the global events and international hospitality and tourism industries and to help develop their management, intercultural, and networking skills to enable them to progress toward successful industry careers.

The Professional Review Panel commended the programmes and, in particular:

• the comprehensive module structure and focus on industry-specific themes
• the opportunities for students to develop professional skills within the specific modules
• the opportunity of a placement year
• the library and learning innovation team for providing an impressive range of services to staff and students
• the student support services team for ensuring that students are well supported
• the timetabling of all courses to ensure students are provided with dedicated opportunities to share their feedback
• the positive results recorded on student satisfaction.
