Hospitality 4 Heroes Challenge

>>Hospitality 4 Heroes Challenge

Many of our Members and Fellows have been seen on social media this week sharing their skills in the #Hospitality4Heroes challenge and raising money in aid of The NHS Charities Together Covid-19 Appeal.

Our very own Alistair Sandall FIH, Head of Professional Development was nominated to take part and you can watch the video on our LinkedIn page.

Here’s the recipe for the cocktail Alistair makes in the video, in honour of Captain Tom Moore.

Captain’s Cocktail

1 msr white rum

1/2 msr Captain Morgan spiced rum

1 msr lime juice

1/2 teaspoon caster sugar

1/2 msr LBV port

Shake and strain into glass filled with crushed ice. Sprinkle the port over one half of the surface, drink from the port side!

More about this fundraiser…

This viral campaign was created by James & Cranwell to raise money in aid of The NHS Charities Together Covid-19 Appeal. Everyone has been touched by the work carried out by incredible people across the country, putting themselves on the front line to protect us during this unprecedented crisis. They hoped to raise £10,000 through the Hospitality 4 Heroes Challenge and have now exceeded that total.

What is the challenge and how do you take part? Upload a video of yourself on LinkedIn introducing yourself, followed by a how to video and nominate three of your friends or colleagues to take part in the challenge. Include the hashtag #Hospitality4Heroes in your post along with a link to donate.

Well done to all of you who have already taken part in the challenge, and thanks to those of you who have watched and donated.
