The Institute of Hospitality was delighted to surprise Matthew Kent MIH, Hospitality Manager at the RAF Club, with a Hearts in Hospitality award in recognition of his outstanding dedication, professionalism and commitment.
Presented by Zoe Wesson MIH, a member of the Hearts in Hospitality panel, the award celebrates hospitality professionals who consistently go above and beyond for their colleagues, guests, and organisations.
Launched in January 2023, the Hearts in Hospitality initiative recognises the incredible individuals who are the heart of our industry, making a lasting difference through their passion, kindness, and commitment to hospitality.
Matthew Kent MIH was nominated by his peers, who described him as “the epitome of hospitality.” While much of his work takes place behind the scenes, his professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication ensure the RAF Club operates seamlessly. More importantly, Matthew has an exceptional ability to make colleagues, members, and guests feel welcomed and valued through his positivity, commitment and willingness to help others.
His dedication to excellence, caring nature and unwavering support for those around him make him an invaluable member of the team and a true ambassador for hospitality.
To mark the occasion, Matthew received a Hearts in Hospitality certificate, commemorative pin and a year’s Institute of Hospitality membership.
Congratulations on this thoroughly deserved recognition, and thank you for everything you do for our hospitality family.
If you know of someone, who always goes above and beyond and deserves to be recognised, why not nominate them for the hearts in hospitality award?
