The Institute of Hospitality is thrilled to once again manage the two regional finals on behalf of the Roux Family on Thursday, 6 March 2025, as 18 talented chefs battle it out to win the coveted Roux Scholarship in Birmingham and London.
These simultaneous regional finals will take place at University College Birmingham and the University of West London in Ealing. In London, the event will be managed by IoH Head of Events, Sarah Peters FIH, and IoH Membership Executive, Lisa Bright MIH. In Birmingham, IoH Events Administrator Emma Ellis MIH will oversee the proceedings.

The London judges will be Alain Roux, Brian Turner CBE FIH, Emily Roux, André Garrett MCA (2002 scholar), Adam Smith MCA (2012 scholar), and Angela Hartnett OBE.

The Birmingham judges will be Michel Roux Jr, Sat Bains (1999 scholar), Simon Hulstone (2003 scholar), and Rachel Humphrey.
National final
Six winners selected from across the two regional finals will go through to the national final, which takes place at the Alain Roux Culinary School at The Waterside Inn, Bray on Monday 14 April 2025 .
The judges for the final cook-off will be: Honorary President of Judges Elena Arzak, Alain Roux, Michel Roux Jr, Brian Turner CBE FIH, André Garrett MCA, Sat Bains, Simon Hulstone, James Martin, Emily Roux and Angela Hartnett OBE.
