IoH South West | Best of the West Hospitality Conference 2026

The Institute of Hospitality South West Region and Wiltshire College present Best of the West Hospitality Conference, an annual event celebrating excellence in hospitality and catering education.

This flagship regional event brings together hospitality professionals, suppliers, and students from across Wiltshire and the surrounding region to celebrate excellence in our industry and strengthen valuable connections.

The conference will feature Inspiring panel discussions and industry insights from:

Sally Wade – Recruitment and Onboarding Manager for Apetito. She is responsible for recruitment activity within the organisation and brings prior experience from NHS organisations, including University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal United Hospitals Bath. Sally oversees numerous and various employment opportunities within a growing and ambitious company.

Ashley Torr – General Manager at the Bishopstrow Hotel & Spa in Warminster, Wiltshire. Torr has over a decade of experience in the UK’s luxury and 4-star boutique hospitality sectors. Before his tenure at Bishopstrow, which is owned by the Kaleidoscope Collection, he worked at Fawsley Hall and gained extensive experience in multi-million-pound hotel renovations and acquisitions. He was also recognized as a “Young Trailblazer” on the Boutique Hotelier Power List.

Vicky Hunt – Senior operational leader at Center Parcs UK, currently serving as a Deputy Village Director. In her executive role, she helps oversee the day-to-day management, guest experience, and overall operations of a Center Parcs holiday village. The various roles at such a destination and occupancy levels drive incredible activity.
