I’m In Episode 18 – The Future of Hospitality Education

In this episode, we all grab our crystal balls and take a look into what the future of hospitality education might look like. The inspiration for today’s chat came from this cool quote from Abraham Lincoln.

“The best way to invent the future is to invent it”.

So the question at hand today was centred around how would this quote apply to hospitality education over the next 10 years.

Helping Phil get to the bottom of this was Joshua Wilson AIH, Yoo Ri Kim MIH and Ben Purton FIH.

Before they all got stuck into the headline topic, Phil once again asked his guests why they said “I’m In” to the IoH:-

• Giving back
• Events & Networking
• Mentoring
• The people you meet from many corners of the industry
• Sharing knowledge
• Bridge the gap between academia and industry
• To utilise the education bank of knowledge
  

And then to today’s topic. It has to be said that we had a wonderful array of guests on today’s panel with perspectives coming from different stages and areas of the industry but all united in their passion.  That came across throughout the chat.
