Business Partner News | Inspired “Energy Unplugged”

25 March 2026

IoH Business Partners, Inspired will be hosting a free, ‘Energy Unplugged’ event for hospitality leaders in Manchester on 11 June 2026.

Hospitality professionals facing mounting operational pressures are being invited to attend Energy Unplugged, a headline event hosted by our friends at Inspired and designed to address the growing challenges surrounding energy and sustainability.

Taking place at Manchester’s Albert Hall, the free-to-attend event will bring together industry leaders to explore practical approaches to energy management at a time when businesses are balancing rising costs, increasing environmental expectations and the demand to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

With regulations changing quickly and new energy terms adding complexity, the event will help our members and hospitality partners navigate the changing landscape with clarity and confidence.

The programme will feature a cross-sector panel discussion including representatives from hospitality, retail and manufacturing, who will share insights into the challenges their industries are facing and how effective leadership can embed sustainability into everyday business decisions.

Attendees will also hear from special guest Tim Peake, the British astronaut, who will offer his perspective on innovation and resilience.

A series of rotating seminars will provide deeper exploration of key topics shaping the energy agenda, including artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, energy risk and markets, ESG reporting and decarbonisation strategies.

Simon Williams, Business Development Manager at Inspired, said the event marks the launch of the organisation’s new partnership with the Institute of Hospitality. “Inspired has recently launched our partnership with the Institute of Hospitality so we can help members tackle their energy and sustainability challenges,” he said. “What better way to mark the occasion than by starting that conversation in person?

“When it comes to energy and sustainability, hospitality businesses deserve clear guidance and practical solutions – and that is exactly what our 2026 headline event will focus on.”

Energy Unplugged is free to attend, although places are limited and booking is required. Follow the link to book now.
