IoH confirms endorsement for Leonardo Hotels

The Institute of Hospitality has confirmed endorsement for the Come Join Us Guest Care Workshop delivered by Leonardo Hotels.

Leonardo Hotels has received the Institute’s endorsement for their Come Join Us Guest Care Workshop offered to all team members in the UK and Ireland division as part of Leonardo Hotels’ BELONG induction programme.

The Come Join Us Guest Care Workshop is designed to energise team members and new recruits around Leonardo culture and the approach to guest care across all of the 53 UK and Ireland properties. The workshop reflects Leonardo company values, vision and mission and clearly outlines employees responsibilities towards guest behaviours. Delivered face-to-face over three hours by trained facilitators, the workshop draws on the work of Insights Discovery colour energy preferences and is built around four key messages or themes: Be Yourself, The Guest, Service and Hospitality, and One Step Ahead.

The Professional Review Panel noted this is a bold move on the part of Leonardo Hotels to implement what is a slightly radical approach to workshop delivery, rather than the usual methods. The Panel commended the programme and, in particular:

• The implementation of an innovative and experiential workshop that is based on Insights Discovery colour energy preferences.
• The organisation and provision of all supporting materials.
• The training and involvement of senior managers in the delivery of the training workshops.
