Call for MSc Scholarship Applications | SHTM at University of Surrey

IoH Educational Membership Scheme partners, The School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM) at the University of Surrey, is delighted to invite applications for The Savoy Educational Trust Scholarship*, available to four students, undertaking the MSc in Strategic Hotel Management Programme (full-time – 1 year) commencing in September 2023.

This scholarship scheme is open to students who intend to pursue a career in the UK hospitality industry and who have the right to remain and work in the UK post-graduation.

Interested applicants will need to meet the entry requirements to the MSc in Strategic Hotel Management Programme:

• A minimum of a 2:2 UK honours degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management, or a recognised equivalent
  international qualification;
• Alternatively, a 2:2 UK honours degree in Business or Management, or a recognised equivalent international
  qualification, combined with three years of work experience in the hospitality industry;
• IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each element if English is not their first language.

The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, 28 April 2023.

All applications will be reviewed by a selection committee. Selected candidates will be invited for an interview in May/June 2023. The MSc programme will commence in September 2023.
