International Women’s Day | I’m In Podcast special

It’s International Women’s Day, so what better way to celebrate than to have a chat with the wonderful women of our industry and a man?

So how far have we come? Is it still a man’s world?  What do we still need to do? All these questions and more were answered by Phil Street FIH and his panel of Emily Murray AIH, Dorothea Jones MIH and Edward Bracken FIH.

As always, they kicked off by giving their reasons for saying I’m in, to the IoH including:

• The Sharing of information across the industry
• Have a central body bringing everyone together
• To play their part in making a difference in the industry
• To stay connected to the industry
• Networking

And then to the main chat itself.  There were some great questions raised and points covered included:

• How are we doing at making the place of work more inclusive for women?
• Some statistics around current feelings in the workplace (you may be surprised by some)!
• The things we still need to consider
• Wider society requirements
• Women and leadership
• The part that men can play and the part we all can play to ensure continued progress
