The Institute of Hospitality has confirmed endorsement for Motivator Training offered by Inspired Community Group, a Community Interest Company (CIC).
IoH Endorsement is confirmed for the Motivator Training programme offered by Inspired Community Group, a Community Interest Company (CIC) that helps to stimulate the minds of young people and disadvantaged adults about their future careers and inspire them to achieve their goals.
The programme is aimed at team members or leaders in the hospitality industry up to the age of 25 who have been selected by their manager. The training provides them with an understanding of the role of a Motivator and gives them the skills and confidence to deliver presentations and work-related activities within a school, as part of an organisation’s commitment to the Economy for the Common Good (ECG).
The Professional Review Panel commend the programme, and in particular:
- the ethos and aims of the Motivator Training
- the variety of exercises and activities the participants will take part in
- the quality of the workbook issued to all participants, and the accompanying presentation slides and notes
- the establishment of an online portal for Motivators to record their activities and successes
- the experience of the facilitators in delivering the training programme
Sally Prescott MIH, Advisory and Operational Board member said “IoH endorsement confirms that our Motivator Training programme is of an excellent standard and provides our volunteers with continuing professional development, which helps to add value and credibility. This endorsement recognition goes a long way to improve the hospitality industry’s profile within the labour market, helps to stimulate minds about future careers and aids recruitment and retention.”
