Episode 5 of the IoH I’m In podcast, hosted by Phil Street FIH is available to members today (Thursday 27 January), via the members’ area of our website or to listen to on the IoH Connect app.
With sustainability high on everyone’s agenda we thought we’d delve into this important topic with the help of three more exceptional humans from within the IoH membership.
In one of our liveliest chats so far, Phil is joined by Leo Downer AIH, Naseem Talukdar MIH and Danny Pecorelli FIH.
As well as learning why all our guests said #imin to the IoH, in this episode we covered a mountain of issues around sustainability. Including the need to get creative and get measuring, that it’s such a nuanced subject, hanging consumer trends have an impact on what can be done quickly but we should also be constantly educating, we can drive that education through choice, we have to guard against green washing and using sustainability as a non-authentic sales tool and that the perceived higher cost of going sustainable is absolutely not always the case. All this and a whole lot more on the topic.
A huge thank you to our guests who clearly all had a passion for the subject.
Enjoy!
