Apprenticeship levy transfer – opportunities within the hospitality sector

23 January 2020

The London Progression Collaboration is a new not-for-profit initiative that aims to help employers in London to make the most of apprenticeships. Join them at City Hall during National Apprenticeship Week for an event with Umbrella Training, exploring apprenticeship levy transfer and the opportunity it presents for the hospitality sector.

London is facing a skills crisis, with many people trapped in low-skilled and low productivity jobs. Meanwhile many employers are finding it hard to spend their apprenticeship levy, with large amounts being unspent in the Capital.

Apprenticeship levy transfer can be a powerful way to unlock the opportunity of apprenticeships, and help employers build the capacity of their sector.

This event, taking place at City Hall in London from 2.00pm – 3.30pm on Friday 7 February, will engage an audience of SMEs and levy paying employers, within the hospitality sector and beyond, to discuss how apprenticeship levy transfer works. Attendees will leave the event with a clear sense of the opportunity of levy transfer, and vital connections to get the process going.

Places need to be booked online in advance.
