The Winners of the UDine Awards 2023, supported by the IoH, were celebrated at a glittering ceremony held at the East Midlands Conference Centre at the University of Nottingham recently.
Hosted by TV celebrity chef Simon Rimmer and attended by Sarah Peters FIH IoH Head of Commercial Development & Events, the awards showcased the excellent work being undertaken in ‘University Hospitality’ across the UK.
Presenting the Outstanding Contribution Award to Gavin Brown, CEO at Leicester Services Partnership, a subsidiary of the University of Leicester, Sarah Peters FIH said: “All the finalists should be extremely proud. The hard work and incredible standards they are achieving across the University sector are truly outstanding. I have been delighted to talk to so many of the finalists today and pass my sincere congratulations to them all and particularly to Gavin, on his considerable achievement.”
Gavin’s career has seen him work at three Universities including Nottingham and Sheffield before taking up his current post at Leicester. Gavin commented: “It was a very proud and humbling experience to be recognised by colleagues and my peers.”
