Hospitality and Tourism Management Qualifications
The Institute of Hospitality has developed a unique set of qualifications which provide industry focused training in management and leadership for the UK hospitality and tourism industries.
The awards provide flexible units of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) which build up into nationally accredited qualifications at Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced levels. The qualifications form part of the Sector Qualifications Strategy for People 1st.

The following Diploma and Certificate awards are available to learners in the UK:
Introductory (QCF Level 2, Scotland Level 5)
Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Operations
Providing an introduction to the industry, this qualification supports managers who wish to revisit topics or get up to speed quickly on industry issues and practice.
Intermediate (QCF Level 3, Scotland Level 7)
Diploma inHospitality and Tourism Management
Designed to support first line managers or consolidate previous learning, this qualification builds on and updates the practising manager's knowledge and strengthens operational management skills.
Advanced (QCF Level 4, Scotland Level 8)
Diploma in Advanced Hospitality and Tourism Management
Built on the key concepts of strategic management, this qualification supports those who wish to further develop their skills in line with their career progression whilst ensuring thorough and professional management training.
Specialist Certificates(QCF Level 3, Scotland Level 7)
Short Course Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Certificates are available as awards from the Institute of Hospitality in the areas of Business Development, Marketing and Sales, Consumer Development, Finance and Business, Human Resources, Legislative and Professional Development.
