Where_can_I_do_this Further education colleges, employers and private training providers across England are currently offering this qualification. Contact and we will put you in touch with your nearest centre.

How-is-it-assessed We test you unit by unit on your understanding using Multiple Choice Questionnaires. Once you have completed the blend of mandatory and optional units which are right for you, you will sit an examination – two hours at level three and three hours at level four. The examination checks your application of your knowledge through a series of questions based on a pre-seen case study. The examination is your chance to demonstrate your ability to use your learning in a practical hospitality context.

Why-should-I We know that it’s got the confidence of the industry, the backing of Members and Fellows of the Institute both in the UK and internationally – but don’t take our word for it, see what some of our successful learners had to say…

"My name is Egle, I started studying for the qualification in January 2014 and have been promoted to Hospitality and Events Manager at BaxterStorey within 6 months. It not only gave me confidence in what I was doing, it also helped me to believe in myself, believe that I am  able to do the job required with an understanding of various sides of the business.

I was able to share my knowledge and experiences with my colleagues as well as learn from them. It was great for networking and finding like-minded people who are as keen as me to succeed in this business and give more than 100%."
