International Centre Approval

The Institute of Hospitality offers Centre Approval to recognised international Universities, Colleges and Training Providers that meet the criteria outlined in the International Centre Approval Guidelines.

The Institute has the authority to approve an International Centre to deliver and assess whole or part awards in relation to the qualifications offered and depending upon the expertise of the centre.

Centre Approval is granted to organisations that meet the application criteria in full, subject to a successful Centre Approval visit from an approved International External Examiner. Approval is initially granted for a period of one year. Re-approval will then be granted for a further three years subject to a satisfactory annual visit, all monitoring requirements being met and payment of annual fees.
