In a move to provide urgent support to the hospitality industry, the Government has recently introduced a reduced rate of VAT at 5%, to apply until 12th January 2021. The cut, while welcome, is proving to be the subject of some confusion, particularly as businesses are keen to ensure they are making the most of any and all support available to them during this challenging period for trading.
This webinar, hosted by Gareth Ogden and Phil Salmon, Partners at award winning accountancy firm haysmacintyre, will therefore provide a breakdown of what the relief applies to, give advice around the areas for particular consideration and offer tips to balance promoting the business with sensible financial decision-making.
