A hospitality management graduate of the University of Surrey, Trevor Ward is a highly experienced consultant with almost 30years experience as an adviser to the hotel, tourism and leisure industries. He has participated in and managed a wide range of projects in these sectors, particularly in developing countries, and is currently based in Nigeria, working throughout Africa advising on development and operations.

Kevin is the Managing Partner of Asiawide Hospitality Solutions, a partnership of Asia Pacific based highly experienced hospitality and tourism advisors. In 2003 Kevin Murphy was awarded the PATA Order of Merit for his contributions to the growth of tourism in the Asia Pacific region over the previous 20 years. In April of 2006, he was also awarded the PATA Chairman’s Award for his support and guidance offered during the tenure of the outgoing Chairman.

Tony has been involved in hospitality education at trade and degree level for the past 18 years. Presently he is Senior Lecturer of Hotel Management at Lincoln University , New Zealand. Prior to this he was Academic Programme Leader for hotel degree programmes at Auckland University of Technology. Tony is a Past Chair and present Committee Member of the Institute of Hospitality New Zealand Group.

Chandi was a Committee Member of the Institute of Hospitality London branch in 1990. He was the first chairman of Institute of Hospitality Sri Lanka and Institute of Hospitality Jamaica International Groups. He also initiated Institute of Hospitality Ontario and served as the advisor to its Chairman. He has been Ambassador for the Caribbean and South America since 1999.

Prior to founding Strategic Hotels & ResortsC in 1997, Laurence was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Geller & Co, a gaming, tourism and lodging advisory company he founded in 1989. Geller & Co specialised in major hotel, corporate and real estate development, financing and structuring on an international scope.

Theo's vast experience in the hospitality industry includes positions of General Manager of luxury hotels, Director and Executive Director of Hotel Groups. He is currently the Founder and Managing Director of the Institute of Training and Research and Tourism Training Cyprus. He has been a member of the Institute of Hospitality Executive Board since 1997, was Chairman of the Institute of Hospitality IDC and Chairman of the International Ambassadors and was elected as the first ever non-UK President of the Institute of Hospitality.

Tony is an experienced Manager in the hospitality industry, dating back to his first position on Gozo Channel Co. Ltd., a shipping company. He subsequently took up several senior Management positions in various hotels and resorts ranging between 3 and 4 stars including Hallans International resort, Bay Street Hotel Complex and the New Alexandria Palace Hotel. He has experience of managing Tour Operating and Destination Management Companies and for the last 4 years has been CEO of Travel Malta Group as well as the Managing Director of a subsidiary company of the La Quinta Group called La Quinta (Malta). He is Chairman of the Institute of Hospitality Malta Branch.

Christopher commenced his working life in the Merchant Navy, where he started his career as an Assistant Purser. He served as an Assistant Purser and Chief Purser with many prestigious companies including Cunard Lines, Booth Lines and Shaw Savill Lines. Upon leaving the merchant navy in 1976 he gained a great deal of experience within the catering industry in Egypt as a Port Catering Superintendent and as General Manager in Sudan, Saudia Arabia and Kuwait for institutional and industrial catering companies. He moved into hotels and resorts in 1992, and has been General Manager of many well known hotels in St Lucia, Jamaica, United Kingdom and back again to Kuwait in 2004 where he was responsible for creating a Heritage Village on Failaka Island, Christopher is also responsible for the fleet of three catamarans serving the village and the island, he is also Director of Training for Safir Hotels & Resorts a Kuwait based management company.
