Abu Dhabi University offers Institute Management Qualifications

Abu Dhabi University Knowledge Group (ADUKG) is the first overseas centre to be approved to offer the Institute of Hospitality’s suite of International Management Qualifications.

“The Institute of Hospitality has been promoting excellence in the British hospitality and tourism industry for over 70 years. It is fantastic that ADUKG can now be a part of bringing these excellent courses to the UAE,” said Richard Firth, Director of the Institute for Vocational Development at ADUKG.

Firth also noted the appropriateness of the courses as the Abu Dhabi Government continues to focus on hospitality and tourism as a driving sector of the local economy.

Qualifications, starting in September, will include a Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in International Hospitality and Tourism, as well as several specialist qualifications.

Director of ADUKG’s Institute for Executive Development (IED), Rory Hendrikz, noted the importance of having the Advanced Diploma available in the UAE.

“Some of the world’s most exclusive hospitality and tourism brands are situated here in the UAE. This program provides individuals working for those organisations the opportunity to gain world class skills, knowledge and qualifications in this area to become future leaders of their industry,” he said.
