3 new Councillors elected

In line with the Articles of Association, 3 seats on the Executive Council were due to be filled by election in 2009. As at 17.00 hrs on 27 February 2009 - the close of the Nomination period for the 2009 elections - a total of three nominations had been received.

In line with Article 17 (2) of the Articles of Association, those 3 candidates so nominated will be deemed to be elected. Therefore, subject to ratification by the Annual General Meeting on 9 June 2009, the following candidates have been elected to serve on the Executive Council for a further 3 year period:

• Laurence Beere FIH (2009 - 2012)
  

• Antonio Fernandes FIH  (2009 - 2012)

• Jane Renton FIH (2009 - 2012)

The Nominations Committee will meet in the near future to consider and make recommendations to the Executive Council on those seats to be filled by Appointment.
