Education Membership Scheme (EMS) Student Login Process
Students who are currently enrolled full or part-time in a hospitality course at a college or university that participates in the Education Membership Scheme shouldCLICK HERE TO CREATE A PERSONAL EMS STUDENT MEMBER LOGIN using the special EMS login received from the college or university EMS contact.
Students will be prompted in the login process to create a personal login and EMS student member record. Once EMS students have created a personal login, they will have access to the various Institute resources and benefits from any web-enabled computer.
Students who do not have any EMS login details should contact their hospitality, leisure and tourism (HLT) tutor, programme director or subject specialist librarian to obtain the initial EMS login.
To determine if a college or university is a member of the EMS, check the Institute's UK or International EMS Members list.
Students who do not have the benefit of EMS student membership may wish to bring the EMS to the attention of their HLT programme director or HLT librarian. Also, Affiliate Institute of Hospitality membership is available to individual students.
