Craighurst Guest House has achieved Hospitality Assured

The Craighurst Guest House has been awarded the Hospitality Assured Award, The Standard for Service and Business Excellence.

The Institute of Hospitality, supported by the British Hospitality Association has granted the Craighurst Guest House in Keith the prestigious Hospitality Assured (HA) Award. This accreditation is the only standard within the Hospitality Industry that focuses on the customer experience.

An extensive and rigorous process takes place before achieving the HA recognition. It takes into account the customer opinion and considers all the aspects of service from the customers' point of view. It is an ongoing process that provides a series of performance indicators against which an organisation can continually judge and measure itself.

Peet and Gwenda Michielsen (owners of the Craighurst) applied for the Hospitality Assured accreditation in May 2009 and were assessed in July.  The dedication and enthusiasm of the 'Craighurst Crew' consisting of Kim Green and Mandy Broadly contributed to achieving this award.
