The Thames Valley Branch covers the counties of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.  The main focus for the Branch is to provide a varied and interesting range of activities relating to our industry and of which a good proportion will provide an opportunity for members to add to their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) portfolio.  To this effect we normally offer around six to eight events during each year.

Traditionally the greatest support for our activities tends to be around a 30 mile radius of Reading and more recently we have focused on this area for the majority of our activities.

The members of your Branch committee have a wide range of backgrounds in our industry and we do feel that attracting new members to the committee is essential if we are to continue to change and develop to present new opportunities.  We are always keen to encourage members to join the committee and please contact the Chair at thamesvalley@instituteofhospitality.org  to receive more information about the work of or joining the Committee.

We are always interested in receiving suggestions for activities for the Branch and offers of venues in the area. The Committee hope to be able to welcome you at one of the Branch events.
