Welcome to the Devon and Cornwall Branch

The key role of the Devon and Cornwall Branch is to bring together those engaged in managerial roles in all sectors of the hospitality and catering industry in the two counties. The Branch makes no distinction between managers working in the private sector and those in the public sector, all that matters is the level of professionalism demonstrated by our members.

In particular the Institute in Devon and Cornwall has a strong belief in the ongoing development of young people who are aiming to develop careers in what is the most important economic activity in the region –Tourism and Hospitality.

The development of a skilled workforce is essential if the hospitality is to play a full part in the economic growth of the region. The role of the Institute as an Awarding Body and the availability of the IoH Professional Qualifications is an aspect the Branch deems a priority.

The Branch organises events and activities that aim to provide an effective network of employers, educators, trainers and managers.
