Job Description
Must have substantial experience and have good performance skills. Able to prepare and cook assorted authentic Asian (methai) sweets including Balushahi, Googi Ladoo, Kaju Burfi, Kajo Pista Roll, Besan Burfi, Motichoor Ladoo, Patisa, Badam Burfi, Chumchum, Gulab Jaman, Bombay Halwa, Jalebi, Kalakand, Rasgullah, Sohan Halwa and Khoya Burfi. Will be required to act as Supervisor to the Kitchen Staff Team. Understanding and knowledge of special diets or with specific cultural needs.
Maintain records of stock and orders items as required. Ensure that adequate stocks of food are maintained (fresh, frozen and dried). Check quantity and quality of stock received and notify suppliers of deficiencies. To understand responsibilities in relation to fire procedures, health and safety, COSSH, infection control, food hygiene and emergency aid.
