We are looking for an Events Sales Manager to join our team here at The George. You will have strong presentation and organisational skills, be passionate about hospitality and be a strong team player. Experience preferred. Salary based on experience.
Key aspects of the role will include:
·To take responsibility for generating and managing sales pipeline in respect of weddings, banquets and conferences
·Find new ways of generating additional event enquiries, through partnerships, research, cold calling, online advertising etc
·Prioritise importance of securing show-rounds for prospective clients, mostly all at weekends
·Set up function file in a complete and organised fashion
·To assist with the operation of functions/events and maintain contact with client as required
